iMaigg Privacy Policy

iMaigg (the "App") is a smart irrigation management application provided by Shenzhen Maitianquan Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). It is used for IoT-based environmental data collection, remote irrigation device control, and automated irrigation management. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the App, and the rights you have.

Please read this policy carefully before using the App. By registering an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this policy in its entirety. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not register for or use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We follow the principle of data minimization and only collect information necessary to provide the product's functions:

• Account information: The phone number and password you provide during registration. Passwords are stored only in encrypted form; we cannot see the plaintext.
• Location information: When you use the map feature, we obtain your location to display your position relative to your irrigation devices on the map and to help locate devices. Location is obtained only while the relevant feature is in use and is not continuously collected in the background.
• Camera (for scanning only): When you use the QR code / barcode scanning feature (for example, to add or bind a device), the App accesses the camera to complete the scan. The camera is used only when you actively trigger scanning; we do not capture, upload, or store your photos.
• Bluetooth (for connecting irrigation devices only): When you use the Bluetooth feature to add or connect irrigation devices, the App scans nearby Bluetooth devices and obtains the Bluetooth identifier (such as the MAC address) of the target device in order to establish a connection and exchange control commands and device data. Bluetooth is used solely to connect to and control your own irrigation devices; it is not used to identify you personally, and it is not used for location tracking or advertising purposes.
• Irrigation device data: Operating status, parameters, water pressure, soil moisture, and other environmental data reported by your IoT devices (valve controllers and gateways, obtained via MQTT or similar communication methods), used for device management and smart irrigation. This is device operational data and does not contain your personal identity information.
• Device location information: The location data of your irrigation devices (valve controllers, gateways), used for map display and device positioning.
• Operation records: Logs of actions you perform in the App, such as remotely controlling valves and configuring irrigation plans (kept on our servers), used to keep your account and devices secure and to support issue tracing.
• Alert contact information: If you enable SMS alerts, when a device abnormality is detected (such as abnormal water pressure), our server system sends an alert SMS to the phone number you registered. The App itself does not read, edit, or send SMS messages on your phone.

In addition, the App reads basic local parameters on your device, such as screen size and platform type, for interface display adaptation. These parameters are used locally only, are not uploaded to any server, and are not used to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Information

• Verify your identity and provide account login;
• Display your location and your irrigation devices on a map for quick positioning and management;
• Add and bind irrigation devices quickly by scanning device QR codes / barcodes;
• Establish connections with irrigation devices via Bluetooth or network to exchange control commands and device data;
• Display and manage your irrigation devices, providing remote control, rotational irrigation planning, and automated control;
• Monitor device status such as water pressure, with alerts sent by our servers via SMS or in-app messages when abnormality is detected;
• Provide vibration feedback when an operation completes or an alert arrives;
• Cache data locally in offline mode and complete synchronization after the network recovers.

We will not use your personal information for any purpose not described in this policy.

4. Third-Party Components and SDKs

To keep the App running stably and provide its functions, the App uses the following third-party components:

(1) Tianditu WMTS Map Tile Service (loaded via the open-source Leaflet library)

(2) DCloud uni-app SDK (app runtime framework)

(3) zad-socket native plugin

Apart from the components above, the App currently does not integrate any other third-party SDKs, including analytics, push notification, advertising, or sharing components. If we integrate new third-party SDKs in the future for functional needs, we will update this policy and notify you via in-app announcements or email.

5. Storage and Security

• Your personal information is stored on our servers. We apply security measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access control, and encrypted password storage to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
• Retention period: Account information and business data are retained while your account is active. After account deletion, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it within 15 business days, unless otherwise required by applicable laws.

• Access and correction: You can view and modify your account profile within the App;
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, including deletion of specific data without deleting your account. If you do not have an account but believe we hold your personal information, you may also submit a deletion request through the channels below;
• Withdraw consent: You may withdraw your previous authorization by contacting us;
• Account deletion: You may request account deletion via email (guokai.w@gmail.com) or phone (+86 135 6079 7997). To protect account security, you will need to provide account-related information for identity verification. Once verified, we will complete the deletion within 7 business days and delete or anonymize your personal information. You may withdraw a deletion request within 48 hours of submission.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adult agricultural producers and farm management personnel. Minors under the age of a child as defined by applicable law (for example, under 13 under the U.S. COPPA) may not create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors; if we become aware that such information has been collected without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete it.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. When material changes occur, we will notify you via in-app announcements or email, and publish the revised version and effective date on this page. If you continue to use the App after the revision takes effect, it means you accept the revised policy; if you disagree, you may stop using the App and delete your account.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising between you and us shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit before the people's court with jurisdiction over the developer's domicile.
